Welcome my fellow Spirit. Thank you for stopping by, for prioritizing your spiritual growth, and for trusting me to guide you on your path. I truly appreciate your commitment and dedication and hope that you'll find what you're looking for, today.
Let's make a quick recap, first, to make sure we're still on the same page, here. Your Higher Self, as we've also already found out, is the non-physical, ethereal, and closely connected to Universal Consciousness part of you. It's your core essence, your spiritual Yin to your human Yang, if you like. It's your true self - pure energy vibrating on the highest frequency, that of love, light, and peace. Holding infinite wisdom about you, your purpose, and your soul's mission, your Higher Self goes above and beyond to insure a joyful, memorable, and growth generating life journey for you to have. It's unwavering support, unconditional love, and unparalleled guidance are literally out of this world. Isn't that truly heart-opening?
Maybe you already start to realize why it's so important for you to establish a clear path of communication with your Higher Self. However, there's one caveat. Something is casually interfering with your "telephone connection" on an ongoing basis, probably without you even noticing it - your mind. The solution? Transcend it. If you want to find out about the purpose of your soul's incarnation in this realm, it's overall mission, maybe even it's spiritual origin or previous lifetimes, you need to "speak" with the Spiritual Being in charge of your human life experience - your Higher Self.
In fact, all the answers you're looking for can only be found "inside of you," while you're in your natural State of Being. Why? It's all about the vibrational frequency. This is an energy-based Universe, which makes it imperative for you to match the high frequency your Higher Self is vibrating at, if you want to "tune in" to its "radio broadcast." If your frequency is too low, you won't be able to perceive anything. It's as simple as that.
In addition to your frequency being high enough, there is yet another requirement. You have to transcend your mind and allow for a space of stillness and tranquility to naturally arise inside of you. Let me be honest here. This is a lifelong practice, an art form really. One that takes time, consistency, perseverance, patience, and training to master. But it's very much worth the effort, as the reward is priceless - peace of mind and clarity.
Let's start with the easiest part, raising your frequency. In order for you to vibrate on a high frequency, energetically speaking, you have to feel good. You have to be intrinsically happy, at ease, feeling peaceful and relaxed. Positive emotions such as love, joy, and being genuinely grateful for your life experience are, what you're looking for.
Do what sparks joy in you, what let's you relax and get all cozy comfy in your skin. I'm not speaking about luxurious spa treatments, decadent shopping sprees, indulgent food festivals while binge-watching Netflix, or any other activity that's focusing on exterior stimulation of your mind. What I'm referring to are intrinsic, heartfelt, and genuine feelings of bliss, contentment, ease, gratitude, joy, and love.
"To throw you a bone," allowing for those beautiful feelings to arise inside of you doesn't involve much effort, and you certainly don't have to pay anything, either. In my case, it's cloud-watching, star-gazing, listening to the sound of waves gently crashing onto shore, spending time in nature, taking a nap, meditating, or doing yoga, that truly hit the spot. They always put a smile on my face, and help me relax on the deepest level.
I'm pretty sure you already know what helps you to let go of your everyday worries and sorrows for a while, what puts a smile on your face, and what let's your Little Spirit feel all happy and blissfully at ease. You just have to do them. Thinking about these things won't change your frequency. You have to put yourself first and follow through. That's what self love is. Not only do you absolutely deserve it, but it's essential for your soul to thrive.
Once you prioritize putting them into practice as often as possible, your frequency will naturally rise. That's it. It's quite easy, and you don't have to actually "do" anything in physical terms. You're a Spiritual Being whose essence is pure energy, vibrating on a high frequency. It's your natural State of Being. Being stressed out, exhausted, or anxious is not. The more content and at ease you're, the longer your frequency remains on a high level, which, in turn, allows you to connect more easily with your Higher Self.
That leaves us only with your mind, which is where it might get a bit tricky. For this practice, you definitely want to be alone. No exterior disturbances either. So, switch off your phone or put it in "flight mode." A serene, tranquil, and quiet environment is what we're aiming at here. Find yourself a nice and comfortable spot in your home where you feel safe and protected. Maybe even use some headphones to keep the noise as far in the distance as possible.
We start of with meditating. Whether you've already done this before or not doesn't matter, as each session is a new beginning. It's completely up to you if you want to use an App for this or not. Speaking for myself, I usually opt to do it just by myself. Sometimes I do "sound bathing," where I listen to resonant tunes, meant to alter my brainwaves to the theta frequency. Guided meditations activate my mind unnecessarily and tend to interrupt my natural flow of tuning in to my Higher Self. If you've never tried it before, however, I'd suggest to give it at least a chance and see how it feels. That's always your best indicator. If it feels good, go for it. If not, skip it.
Start of gently, especially if you've never done this before. Eyes open or closed? It's totally up to you. There're no rules to this, except to be gentle and patient with yourself. Just focus on your heart-center or your breath. Again, go with what feels good and "flowy," natural somehow, when you do it. One time it may be your breath, next time you may feel more comfortable gazing into the distance. Trust your feeling in this.
While meditating, you're focusing on one single point, such as your breath, to quiet the mental chatter. Just observe your "object of attention." Sooner or later, thoughts will arise and carry you away for a while. That's natural, so don't worry about it. Even the most experienced meditation pro has it. If you become aware of your mind wandering off, gently bring your attention back to where it was before.
That's meditation in a nutshell. Sounds quite easy, right? Sometimes it is. Sometimes it's not. There will always be days when your mind is acting like a "monkey on a banana rush." What separates the "wheat from the chaff," is your ability to stay calm, centered, and patient, despite the internal tornado going on. Just sit with it. Definitely never fight it. If you resist something, it'll only expand.
Once you've got the hang of it, we're going to increase the challenge a little bit. How? Go deeper "inside" and find your "sanctuary of serenity and peace." That sounds made-up, right? Like a fantasy world somewhere up in the sky. I can assure you, it's not. It's as real as it gets. But it's not a place. It's your natural State of Being. I guess, that doesn't make it any easier, does it?
What helps me, is to focus on my heart-center. With my full attention gently being placed there, the chatter of my mind naturally recedes into the background. From here, I slowly focus more and more on the stillness inside of me. You will feel it happening, when deep relaxation and peace set in. That's how you know that you've found your sanctuary. Congratulations! You're doing great!
But, you have one more step to go before you might be able to connect with your Higher Self. I know you can do this. Just take it slowly. One baby step at a time. We're laying the foundation for your spiritual transformation. If we screw this one up, the entire building might start to tumble and you may never reach your full potential.
The final step is to gently let go of any sensory experience of the outside world. Instead, place your attention on your "spiritual senses." Spiritual what? Your "spiritual senses" are your psychic abilities, your "clair senses." They act as intuitive channels, extending your regular five human senses to perceive spiritual or energetic information, including seeing (clairvoyance), hearing (clairaudience), feeling (clairsentience), knowing (claircognizance), smelling (clairalience), and tasting (clairgustance) things and Spiritual Beings, such as your Higher Self, in the Spiritual Realm. They also allow you to tap into Universal Consciousness.
Many people have a dominant "clair sense" to connect with the Spiritual Realm. For you to find out which one is yours, patience is of the essence, once again. Just relax as much as possible and don't try to figure anything out, using your mind. It's not capable of processing the incoming information, anyway. Your mind has no connection to Universal Consciousness or the Spiritual Realm, whatsoever. It might take a lot of time to solve the puzzle, or you'll crack the nut in no time. Everybody's game is unique and special.
How did I solve the puzzle? I'm like a mole in this regard. My "clair senses" were basically hiding in plain sight, eversince I was born. But I didn't know. For me, it was just normal to perceive myself, other people, and the world the way I do. Using them just as I use my regular human senses, it never really occurred to me that others might have a completely different experience of life. That being said, my dominant ones are clairaudience, claircognizance, and clairsentience, in that order.
Let's come back to your journey, before you fall asleep. For you, to connect with your Higher Self in a way that's perceivable to you, serenity is key. Relax. Be gentle. Be patient. Be open. Be inquisitive. Allow. You can't make it happen. If nothing comes up. That's fine. Just try it again on another day. There's a divine timeline involved. If something isn't meant to be right now, it won't.
If your mind starts to get antsy, go with your intuition. Maybe it's just time to end the session for now. Try to always end on a high, while you're still feeling good and at ease. If you notice your frequency is getting lower, then definitely stop and do something that feels better, more soothing and pampering.
If, however, you start to feel a slight tingling on the top of your head or even all over you, it's a sign that a connection might have been established. Just observe. Don't think about it. Don't try to "make sense" out of your experience. Your mind can't help you now. You've to trust your intuition on this - completely.
Besides the tingling sensation, you might "see" images of things, sceneries or other Beings. You might even "hear" a voice, addressing you. This is where it gets interesting. Why? Not only does your Higher Self "speak" with you, but so does your mind. Your mind, being the "super computer" it is, quickly adapts and is infamous for pulling a trick or two in order to "help you out."
Don't fall for it. Although your mind may mean well, it also has an agenda of its own - survival. It'll go to great lengths to make sure that neither your body nor itself run the risk of dying. It's no. 1 strategy of doing so? Playing it safe. Every time you notice a thought or belief that invokes fear in you, it's coming from your mind. Every time you "hear" this very familiar voice that tells you to "just let it be" or "better not risk it", it's your mind who does the talking.
The two main telltales of your subconscious mind are feelings of anxiety, fear, jealousy, hatred, lack, or anything else on the low frequency side of the emotional spectrum, as well as thought patterns and underlying beliefs that evolve around those feelings. Hence, pay close attention to those two. What do you think and how do you feel doing so?
Doesn't that immediately ring a bell? The practice of reprogramming your subconscious mind. Awesome! So you know already what to do in these cases. Now, you probably want to know how your Higher Self "sounds" like, right? That's actually quite easy to answer. It always speaks to you out of deep and unconditional love, so the messages it conveys are helpful, uplifting, inspiring, supporting, accepting, appreciating, and encouraging. The voice it uses to speak with you always "feels" genuinely caring, soothing, nurturing, soft, and gentle - in short, just wonderful.
Imagine meeting your twin or soulmate for the very first time. You immediately feel the strong bond and connection that you share with each other. Your Higher Self is always there for you no matter what. It always cheers you on despite your mistakes. It always reaches out to you and picks you up whenever you stumble and fall. It always embraces you even if you're at odds with yourself. And, it always, always, always loves you unconditionally for who you are. That's your Higher Self.
The next time you notice a little voice inside of you, pay close attention to it, as it may very well be your Higher Self, trying to reach out to you - even if you don't actively engage in meditation, trying to transcend your mind. Vibrating on a high frequency is already enough to "tune in" and connect. But, you have to notice the signs and messages in the first place. This is why present moment awareness is so important. It allows you to sense and perceive them, with both your human and your "spiritual senses."
Your Higher Self and Spirit Guides are sending you messages all the time. You probably just didn't realize, yet. Angel numbers, a certain song on the radio, a stranger on the street complimenting you for something, or helping you out in an unexpected way, a friend mentioning something that catches your attention, or a feather slowly drifting by. Those are typical signs, hints, and invitations to help, encourage, and inspire you, to cheer you on, or to ask you to pause and "listen inside."
Your human life experience is just too precious and important for your soul to fulfill its mission, than for your Higher Self to wait it out until you eventually decide to make contact. But, now you know. Now, you can resume your path with "fresh eyes" and conscious awareness. Keep your frequency high and your senses wide open.
However, to foster the process of self-realization, transcending the "gravitational forces" of your mind is probably the most efficient way to get a clear "radio signal." If you're looking for wisdom, guidance, and answers from the best source there is, from the extension of your soul, this is what you have to do. It's pretty straightforward. You can do it whenever and wherever you want to. You can ask anything you want to know. That's freedom. That's peace of mind. That's your natural State of Being - Ease of Being.
